November countdown...
Well this is when the year just disappears! How did the year go so fast and get to be November already when it barely feels like it was Christmas. Ho hum. I am going to try and do a calendar again for Christmas presents and just use 2010 works. A never ending to-do list!

Inception...
I went to see Inception today, and whilt I enjoyed it, it really was a bunch of baloney! I think it was trying to be too clever and just kinda lost me. Maybe I was distracted by the eye candy! There are some really handsome men in it, some gorgeous scenery shots, and a lotta good action scenes. But other than that, we've all seen the Matrix/Flatliners.
It's possible I just missed the point and maybe need to watch it again? I just didn't really get why you would go into someone's dream subconcious to plant an idea when there are surely so many easier ways to achieve subliminal advertising.
I do however like some of the messages - the dreamworld is highly underrated. I know my dreams can be pretty intense. I think I'd have to give it 4 out of 10... maybe 5 at a stretch.

Ophelia... my new painting
So this is what she ended up looking like... along with a name change... She's now Ariadne.
I've been working today on a new painting, sometimes it happens so easily and other times I can't paint for lovenormoney ;)
It's still at the beginning of the work, but sometimes you know you're gonna like it. Othertimes I finish them because I have started them :S
I was watching Fifth Element last night, so her face is a little Leeloo-ish... well, the colouring anyway. Hair is such a bummer to do, but am going to spend the rest of the day painting hairs. :P

Prince Charming... wherefore art thou? (Tales of an inside boy & an outside boy)
This is my cat Alfie... he's got big baby blues, mostly adorable, totally spoilt and very intelligent (hmm such a proud mother am I). So he loves to stand and peek out of the window at the world. Am not sure how it happened, and perhaps in kitty life as in ours, it was love at first site. A passing ginger kittyman espied my babe. Their days were punctuated by one looking out, or the other looking in. I say WAS because the people who owned Ginger upped and left, and left him behind - such charmers they were - and the person who owned the house gave him to her mother (glad to hear he got a nice home after being dumped!!) So Alf & Ginger were not to be.

Maltesers... the dastardly REDBAG... a love hate relationship
are the best and the worst... they are so addictive and so good at the time, the bag seems endless, and it's one after another ~ happy happy joy joy. And then the bag is empty. And you feel sick. Wonder why did I eat the WHOLE bag??? And then there's the pain... the roof of your mouth ahhhhh XD.

My first blog - woooo
So you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink...
Truth be known, it's actually Zazzle which has tempted me into creating the blog. I want to be able to push the little "BLOG" button when I create a product. Ok, and maybe the thought of Carrie sitting up late at night... blogging away.
